Description: Dr. Suh will give a brief update on latest COVID-19 developments, then parents will get a chance to ask any questions they may have.
Session2: COVID update and Q & A for children (appropriate for ages 8-18) (June 3, 2020, 7-8pm)
Description: Dr. Suh will give a brief update on the latest COVID 19-developments in language that children can understand, and then the children will have a chance to ask any questions they may have.
Session3: Non COVID-implications of COVID illness (June 10, 2020, 7-8pm)
Description: Those who have never been infected or gotten ill from COVID-19 have still suffered in their health. “Nonessential” services such as preventive screenings, immunizations, and dental care have been unavailable for the past 2-3 months. Our nutrition and mental health have been impacted. Learn and discuss the impacts to our personal and public health and what you can do to protect yourself and your family.
Session4: Summer safety in the midst of the COVID-crisis. (June 17, 2020, 7-8pm)
Description: Despite COVID-19 getting all the attention, there are many other issues that we should be aware of that impact our children’s health, especially as the weather gets warmer and summer arrives. We will cover everything from sun and water safety to insect bites and Lyme disease. Increase your awareness on how to keep your family safe this summer!
